The Hood Law Firm is the trade name of Matthew Hood LLC. The firm is owned and operated by Matthew A. Hood, an attorney licensed to practice law in Georgia and Tennessee and admitted to practice in various federal courts throughout the United States. The firm represents employers and businesses in labor and employment matters and related commercial disputes.

The firm is not affiliated with any other law firm using a similar name.

Matt also helps clients navigate U.S. Department of Labor wage and hour investigations and Davis-Bacon Act audits. The goal is efficient resolution while reducing business disruption.

Professional service

Matt was appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to serve as a mentor for Georgia’s Transition Into Law Practice Program.

The Hood Law Firm is a proud contributor to the Georgia Heart Hospital Program for Union General Hospital in Blairsville and Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham in Demorest.
